Argued a PIL for establishment of a helpline for the senior citizens in the State of Haryana. Despite rules & laws requiring its implementation, it was not being done. Taking cognizance of this, the Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court directed the State to furnish information regarding the status of various districts across Haryana and has also directed them to provide a timeline to ensure its timely implementation.
